The MA8500 builds on the popularity of previous Mr Fog disposables. It offers step-change improvements in battery performance and juice capacity compared to most disposables on the market.

I've tested a lot of disposables in my time reviewing vapes, but I've never used one that lasts as long as the MA8500. For heavy users like myself, this groundbreaking longevity transforms it into a very wallet-friendly option.

Design and Features

As far as disposables go, the MA8500 is downright huge - measuring 105mm by 32mm. But the extra size brings that industry-leading juice capacity and battery runtime.

Despite the larger footprint compared to average disposables, it still fits nicely in the hand and pockets without issues.

It uses a combination of smooth marble-effect plastic and soft-touch materials. Visually, bright colors and a shiny finish ensure it grabs attention. Branding is subtle though.

The tapered duck-bill mouthpiece provides a very comfortable vaping experience. And the automatic draw activation worked flawlessly puff after puff.

A single LED indicates your puff count and lights up while charging via USB-C. It takes about 60 minutes to fully recharge.

My favorite design feature by far is the adjustable airflow. You can tweak the draw resistance from a tight MTL inhale right up to a restricted DTL puff. This level of customization is almost unheard of in disposables!

The 50mg nicotine salt e-liquid provides a nice throat hit and potent nic delivery reminiscent of smoking. Probably too high strength for the restricted DTL puffs this device facilitates - but a lower strength option would always be welcome.

Performance and Flavor

After rigorously testing 8 flavors over 2 weeks, I'm happy to report performance has been exceptional all-round.

The adjustable airflow really makes the MA8500 stand out. I prefer a very tight MTL draw, but opening the airflow demonstrates how shockingly capable this disposable is.

Both flavor intensity and vapor production impress. Every draw, regardless of length or strength, is packed full of flavor and dense, smooth vapor.

The "Double" branding of each flavor seems indicative of the high concentrate level - because the sweetness and fruitiness really pops with every puff.

Of the 8 options, Double Espresso stands out for perfectly encapsulating a aromatic cup of rich, dark espresso.

The 50mg nicotine salts deliver a satisfying throat hit and nicotine punch - as you'd expect.

But the battery life and longevity easily steal the show...

Insane 17ml Capacity

Across two weeks of all-day vaping I'm still getting ample battery life of around one full day before needing to recharge.

And after over 650 puffs per day, the MA8500 just keeps going and going. I estimate I'm getting a crazy 13 days of use before it runs empty!

For lighter users a single disposable could feasibly last over a month!

Considering the mammoth 17ml juice capacity and class-leading battery life, Mr Fog certainly seem to have followed through with their lofty promises.

This kind of longevity paired with great performance makes the MA8500 incredible value for money.

The fruity and mint options deliver bold, candy-like sweetness. My favorites are Double Espresso for a perfect replication of dark, aromatic espresso. Double Berry also shines through with juicy, fruity flavor.

Apparently, more flavors are slated for future release - which will be welcomed given the short list. But the 8 options shown cover a wide range.

Price

The Mr Fog website currently sells the MA8500 for around $18 USD per disposable.

Given I'm getting nearly 2 weeks of heavy daily use worth of vaping for my money - that works out to only $1.38 per day. An incredible value compared to smoking!
